Funding (General information)

The Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP) 2007-2013
http://eacea.ec.europa.eu/static/en/llp/index_en.htm  LLP is the European Commission's new education funding programme. One of its chief priorities is the promotion of language learning and linguistic diversity. It is open to all RMLs.

The Smile Report reviewed funding for regional or minority languages in 2001. It found that although RML communities represent 10% of EU citizens they receive only 5% of EU funding.
